Gearbox oil change

My 14 reg 1.3 petrol manual has done 40K miles which is the recommended service interval for the gearbox oil. I can see it takes 2.4L of 75W GL4. Can anyone tell me please the size of the filler/level and drain plug washers, or have i got to take them out first and measure them?

I'm posting this now just in case I'm away for a day or so.

If filler and drain plugs are 24mm AF then washer/gasket ID = 18mm and OD = 24mm. (Part no. 90430-W001 iirc approx. £1 each from mr t but this was well over 10 years ago ) 😀

EDIT: Superseded part number 90430-18008 (before flash gives me a grilling 😄 )

I would double-check that oil spec, I have the tech sheet somewhere, Crack the fill plug loose before you drain it

A 24 mm socket rings a bell

It's what's printed in the owner's manual, mind you that's seven tears old now, I suppose advice might have been updated. It's the same spec as quoted on the Comma oils website.

If you haven't started the job yet, always loosen the filler plug before the drain.
