PHEV Overnight Charging

I often only drive 10 miles a day and so when I leave the PHEV to charge overnight it's usually fully charged by 4am. Would it damage the Battery to leave it charging (even though fully charged) from 4am -8am? I suspect not but just wanted to check

Unlikely in my view. The charging equipment is quite sufisticated these days and designed for situations like that.

I’ve read that it’s better not to leave the traction Battery fully charged, they basically work best in the 20 to 80% range. The best option is to set the time you want the car to be available and the car will then work out when to start the charge.
