Panasonic touch screen not working

Hi, I have a 2013 Auris with a Panasonic car audio system (I think it's PANASONIC CV-VS02F2AE). The touch screen buttons stopped working gradually, perhaps over the past month or so. First the top right section wouldn't recognise a touch, then the middle, now all of them don't work. It displays OK and you can do certain things with the buttons on the sides of the unit, but I'd like to fix it.

I removed and rehoused the unit's fuse (number 18 according to every image I've found) but no luck. I can't see how to take the front plate off to see if there's a reset button. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Cheers

The touch screen has died, either replace the screen/digitizer or replace the stereo

have a look at this site to ID your model

Thanks Bob, that's where I got the name of my current one. The problem is the Panasonic ones are very similar.

So, there's nothing else for me to do other than replace? I wonder what would have caused that.

I killed my one by getting water on it while cleaning 🙂.

I upgraded the unit with a Touch 2 Go satnav with a little modification. I then repaired the original Touch radio by replacing the digitizer from eBay and then sold it (to recoup some of the money back).
