Headlight Not working

Hello, 

I have a strange issue, the headlight when I turn it to low beam it doesn't switch on, but then I flicker the High Beam by Pulling the Stick backward the light works. Knowing its the same bulb for the high beam and low beam what could be the issue please?

The relay for the high beam and Dim is it the same? I found a relay in the engine bay near the lamp which is marked as DIM would that be the same relay which triggers the high beam and reflector?

Although this doesn't directly answer your question, did you know there ia a downloadable service manual for the iQ?

It can be downloaded as a zipped file (it's about 16 posts down) from this thread:

It's about 125 MB.  Note the instructions on how to run the manual!

Perhaps that might give some help.
