Intermittent noise from front offside wheel

My 2015 Toyota Auris Hybrid estate has been making an intermittent high pitched noise which to my untrained ear sounds like a defective bearing.  This has been happening since August this year and does not appear to have gotten any worse with time.  In the interim I have done an additional 4000km or so with the car.  I had the car examined by my local garage - not Toyota.  They assured me that there was no discernible issue with the bearings, the suspension or the brakes.  Nevertheless it is a sound out of the ordinary.  Might any one here be able to tell me what could be its cause?

Hi,

Will be better to record and share with us then when we hear we may eventually confirm it is the wheel bearing that makes these strange noises, however sometimes the exact same noise can be due to a faulty tyres and although may point you towards front or rear left or right best practice is to check all 4 corners since often the noise is very difficult to track where exactly comes from, could be rear bearings/tyres and not on the front. Another thing to notice is if the noise comes particularly in specific roads areas, sometimes the road surfaces can cause the tyres to produce strange noises when driving over different roads  👍
