08 yaris sr d4d, lowering & handling improvements advice please

I've owned my uk yaris 1.4 d4d sr on factory 16 inch alloys for a year would like to ideally lower the car more than the 40mm drop of the springs fitted standard & would like to improve the handling performance at the same time.

Don't want to spend a fortune on the car

Have done alot of reading about coilover kits like the dampner adjustable tein street advance z.?

Would adding this coilover kit alone give me the visual drop I'm after aswell as really improving the handling over the standard suspension? Or would I have to add a rear anti roll bar /sway bar too?

Have read from other posts that tein are too soft? This is just for road car not being tracked

Any advice or experience greatly appreciated

Cheers

The SR only got a 25mm drop from factory, don't bother with coilovers on a road car you will compromise the ride, proper setup can get expensive

IMHO get some poly bushes from the likes of powerflex or superPro, Eibach springs that will drop you another 15-20mm and uprated adjustable shocks with new front tops, Rarb - whiteline do one iirc
