Paseo 5E-FE Engine Mods

Hey!

I just bought my first car, and its a Toyota Paseo 98', and I really love it so far 🙂

Because Im a beginner, I would like to ask you guys about how can I get more power of my car ? 

What engine mods should i do ? 

What can I change in a cheap way ?

Well, there's no engine modifications you can do within a cheap pricerange. 

But you can start with changing spark plugs, and also the cables. Change the oil, oil filter, air filter. Use premium fuel +a fuel additive to help removing old build up with the engine.

What about the fuel injectors? They've been working for 23 years, maybe a replace could make a difference? Maybe they can be cleaned with ultra sound....?

What parts to buy, and brand or model, YouTube can entertain you for hours. 

Try to turn the wheels by hand when lifted of the ground. How does the wheel bearings fell? Old, to much drag? Maybe broken? Also, make sure brakes can move freely and doesn't hang. 

Remove any weight or stuff you don't need. Don't drive around with 50 kg of junk in the back. Keep the car clean. A ditry car has more drag than a clean one.
