Anyone have any experience of the new RAV4 plug-in

My rationale to acquire on the company lease scheme was simple...

 

1. Must meet my my spec for a mid sized SUV, with AWD, Android Auto, and bulletproof reliability. All essential. 

Lots of options at this point.

2. I wanted to get a good affordable deal. More car for my money. This now meant PHEV SUV for tax reasons. EVs didn't have the business trip range I needed. An overly high price and hence monthly cost of the best SUV PHEVs is hugely off set by the any BiK tax of 6 or 7pc from memory (vs 40pc tax on my wages). So I'm basically getting a third off the monthly rental cost as though it was a third off the price. 50k car but paying 30k prices.

Now down to a handful of cars. Tried the 3008 hybrid4 300GT. God awful car for reliability. Stressful. Carbage. Got sent to heaven.

3. Prefer a bit of power all other things being equal. Practical reasons but also I'm a big sleeper car fan.

There's now only one option.
