Hi.

My Aygo had the all to familiar intermittent indicator problem...caused by a corroded connection...I followed the very helpful instructions found on this website...and sorted it...or so I thought... everything works apart from the back lights...any ideas to what I may have done wrong??

Are you checking the situation with lights turned on ?

Not daytime running lights only cause Toyota chose to only activate the front lights for daytime running lights in my car.

If you checked with only daytime running lights it could be normal the back lights are not working.

I forgot to mention I have no side lights or number plate lights.I checked the relevant fuse(4th one down on right of steering column) and every other fuse just to be sure. All fuses are good and have a current flowing through them. I've just seen a video saying it could be a connector in the indicator stalk not contacting when I switch on side lights/rear lights. I'm going to have a look tomorrow to see if that's the problem ...and have ordered a new indicator stalk for good measure!

New stalk time, it's a very common issue on the mk1, the lighting is all ground side switched/controlled

it's not easy to change the stalk as it's a steering wheel off job

do you have DRL's ?
