Hi,

I just purchased a 2012 Toyota Verso T-Spirit car.

When I use indicators, I can't hear any sound. Most cars provide tick-tock sound, but not here.

Is that normal?

In your car the sound is almost certainly made by a small speaker inside the speedometer enclosure.  In older (much older!) cars the sound was the indicator relay operating, the modern sound is supposed to emulate that, electronically.

I have driven a few Versos, but never owned one.  I would be very surprised if you can turn it off.

I did once remove the instruments in a Mazda, and put BluTack all over the speedo speaker grille, as the sound was too loud in that car.  But in that case, the sound was still easily audible afterwards, just reduced.

I look forward to some owners comments....!

My dad has a (IIRC) 2016 Verso and it definitely 'tick-tock's!

AFAIK there aren't any options to turn it off or even change the volume...

Horn doesn't work either, so it might be related.

Ours here in Spain is very quiet, it does make a sound but not a lot.
