My new 1980 Hiace Camperized by Syro

Hi guys, how are you? I'm Manuel from Chile. Thanks for accepting me in this nice and interesting forum.

I've recently bought a 1980 Hiace that has been highly modified, but it still has some stock features. My first question is regarding the Syro Company, haven´t heard about them and I will love to know if they could have an history of this car and when they did this job.

It was imported to Chile in the earlys 90's but I do not know from which country (probably Japan?). I think it was originally right handed.

Some mayors modifications are the TD27 engine and the 4x4 convertion. I'm blind about anything else.

Should be a good proyect? Any comments or suggestions are wecome!

Best regards!

Manuel

The company was based near Darmstadt in Germany and was generally known for camping equipment and conversions. The name comes from Sybille & Rolph Koch
