Fuel filter primer button missing ?

Great forum, picking up lots of useful info!

From looking extensively through these threads to try and problem solve an issue or two, I've realised my Ravs's fuel filter housing doesn't look the same as others here - seems to be missing something regarding the black primer button.

What's left is functional but uncomfortable to operate due to it's hard edges.

Would the lack of the top button bit mean the filter housing is not properly sealed (at this point) and could be causing a vacuum leak within the filter ?

its missing the plunger top, 1 screw and the spring

it will still be sealed, the filter top/primer is supplied as a single item

i take it you have the 2.2 2AD engine

2.2 D4D engine, not sure if it's AD? it's a 56 Reg

It should be 23380-26111 (original is 23380-26110)
