GR86 for two years only in Europe

I would imagine this will keep the order books full for the GR86 🤔

First revealed in April 2021 the new GR86 makes its European debut today and will be introduced here in the spring of 2022. Production will be limited to just two years, making this an exclusive proposition for customers – “when it’s gone, it’s gone.”

Two years is not good but the article says that unregistered vehicles cannot be sold, so that could effectively make an 18 month window. Another question would be as we are no longer a member of the EU presumably the U.K. could allow cars manufactured before the deadline to be registered after the deadline date?
