Had Trouble Code P2237 & P1473 , replaced O2 Bank1 Sensor 1 ; now I get P2196 & P1473

Hi,

I initially had Trouble Codes:

P2237 : O2 sensor positive current control circuit/open bank 1 sensor 1.

&

P1473 : Fault Path for Long Time Drift

 

I replaced:

O2 Bank1 Sensor 1

now I get Trouble Codes:

P1473 : Fault Path for Long Time Drift

&

P2196 :  O2 Sensor Signal Biased/Stuck Rich Bank 1 Sensor 1

Has anyone seen this issue and managed to resolve it please?

I subsequently contacted the aftermarket supplier of O2 Bank1 Sensor1 who were good enough to send another replacement.

My mechanic replaced it again (you need a special spanner to do it) and now though no light comes up in the dashboard, but every other driving day, the Autel AP200M bluetooth OBD2 Scanner detects the car has registered the Fault Code:

 

P1473 : Fault Path for Long Time Drift

Incidentally, Toyota Dealer recently carried out the Toyota Recall work on the car, to overcome EGR Valve Overheating.

I have also bought from a reputable eBay supplier salvaged MAF sensor, which did not resolve the issue, though they send another salvaged one (both turned out to be older than my own - see date on pictures) still I get the P1473.

a. Has anyone seen persistent P1473 and managed to find the solution?

b. is it worth paying to buy Original New MAF Sensor?
