Do any Touring Sports trims offer a heated steering wheel?

The Toyota Corolla brochure doesn't seem to mention a heated steering wheel for any of the Touring Sports trims.

I don’t think any do, like most if not all Toyotas for the uk market.

I must admit, I would like one in my Prius Excel.

Snap, took the car out of the garage this evening and the wheel was still very cold

I'll skip Toyota, then.

Shame!

Hahah, had to use two fingers steering this evening as it was 0C° when I went out, after 10 min drive all was warm and fine though, not a big deal heating things in a car, in Russia perhaps will be necessity but here…I can live without it.

It's annoying the UK market misses out on equipment readily available to the European markets.

I'd happily pay extra for a optional heated steering wheel - just Toyota UK won't let you.

I empathise 100%. Probably sounds frivolous to those who've never had one, but heated steering wheels really are the best thing since sliced bread and I'm going to miss the feature dearly. I'd trade heated seats for one all day long.

I went on Amazon last night (no doubt similar sites would do) and you can get heated steering wheel covers that slip over the whole rim of a s.wheel, plug into a cig/aux connection and within 90 seconds warms the wheel rim up to 100-120 deg F.  Anything between £22-£35 pound. Obviously you can’t drive with it on, but at least warms the hands after you walked to the car, then car heating will take place after a few miles driving.
Or you can get gel hand warmers with a clicker in. The clicker causes a chemical reaction that gives a lot of heat that will keep hands warm while out and about, including getting to the car. As you drive the car heating air system takes over (same with the heated cover). You need a pan of hot water at your destination to reactivate the chemical reaction.
I am sure you can get heated gloves, maybe working off their own little Battery, or usb connection maybe. After all overjackets with a Battery pack (small and unobtrusive are available, ladies and gents sizes) to keep the torso warm for a few hours.
Yes, I know that the above are not as convenient as a manufacturers fitting on an assembly line, but they probably allow you to keep/obtain the car you want above all others and get some comfort.

heated steering wheels are available on German corollas. I'm sure one could retrofit that, won't be cheap, but it isn't like you would have gotten it for free anyways

I have the Suzuki Swace which has heated steering wheel, blind spot mirrors etc  strange when they all come from the same factory.

My 2020 Corolla, (Ireland), does not have the heated steering wheel. It is one of the things I miss about the the Astra I had - thinking about it, it is probably the only thing I miss about the Astra! 😁
