Bought the car 2 weeks ago from an old chap who didn’t drive it much and hadn’t been on a motorway for several years. It drove fine on the motorway coming home, but has now developed a droning/vibrating noise from about 2500 revs while accelerating. It goes if you dip the clutch so I’m thinking it’s possible to do with the gearbox. It’s been we’ll looked after and serviced regularly. I’m wondering if it might need new gearbox oil? Any ideas anyone
