OBD2 Port Surf 1KZTE and Bluetooth ELM327 device

I have an under dash port...it is an OBD2 port.

ToyOBD says that if a Toyota port has SIL pin on the pin out ..then it is OBD2, see http://jfbreton.blogspot.com/2014/02/toyobd1-android-datalogger-what-engines.html  

Googling tells me that SIL pin is pin 7

My 2001 has a pin 7...interesting.

Then I learn that not all OBD2 protocols are the same.... each requiring an initialisation sequence and set parameters. Commonly a bluetooth app will cycle through the OBD2 App (Torque is one that does this)....until it completes the handshake and then it connects

 

Anyone here know either:

a bluetooth app that includes preconfiguration for JDM 2001 !KZTE

OR

what the init string looks like
