I think the question was about the my21, the person want to know how come they are not getting my22 or 23. I don't know the answer to that.

I am not sure that I understood. I ordered at the end of the year so it has to be the latest model eg MY22. Or not?

Technically, if it's not been used or registered, just sat in storage, it is classed as a new car. Over the years many people have bought 'new' cars that had left the factory a long time ago, particularly when sales were poor and the manufacturers kept churning out into storage.

Given the car shortages of late that seems unlikely, but it is also possible that this one was shipped without some electronics because of the chip shortage and has only now acquired them.

As mojo says, contact the dealer to find out what is what.
