Guys, do any of you know if the Corolla 1.6 GS has a rev limiter and where it kicks in if it does?

Yes it has one to stop you damaging the engine. Can't remember what it was on the 4afe engine but on my 4a-gze it cuts in at about 7000rpm

My 7A-FE's rev limiter kicks in at 6800 rpm, same as the 4A-FE. I get some funny looks from passengers in the car with me when I rev it past redline. I've got a 1.3 4E-FE gauge cluster, and the tach redlines at 6000 instead of my stock cluster's 6300, so it looks even more dramatic. :D

Thats a strange quetion to ask aint it!? You obviously havnt ever used the full revving potential of your engine! Its not as if it revs that high! Just go out and ramp you car until it hits the limiter! :)
