Aygo 2019 apple car play

I have a toyota aygo 2019 and i am confused how to get Apple car play up. on my dashboard where my interactive screen is there is only 2 buttons on the right hand side of the screen. 

does this mean the car does not have Apple car play as it needs the 3rd button on the left. Can i get this installed?

Apple Carplay/Android Auto was introduced on some versions of the facelifted (2018 onwards) Aygo. The updated multimedia unit with Carplay/Auto can be identified by having three buttons on the front - the multimedia unit with two buttons isn't compatible with Carplay/Auto. Eg:

Some members have swapped their two button units for the three button units - eg

The 2 button unit doesn't have CarPlay, you need to swap it to the 3 button unit.

The 3 button unit was introduced in late 2018, so if your Aygo was registered in 2019 then it must have been built in 2018.

A quick look at the 2019 brochure shows the X-play (one up from the base) comes with the X-touch
