Hi all

I’m considering a 1.8 GR sports tourer and cover 25k miles PA, as a higher mileage user, with 50% m/way 30%a/b roads and 20% town/slow, would I expect to see 55mpg+, driving sensibly? I currently have a Kia Niro with 18” wheels and am getting only 51.

Look for Corolla with 17” or even 16” wheels and only 1.8 hybrid, the 2.0 hybrid will be a challenge to deliver the required mpg as the car is more powerful and heavier. You can also look at Prius with 15” wheels, this is the most efficient Toyota., or Corolla saloon 1.8 hybrid. , these two are more aerodynamic than Corolla hatch or estate. 👍
