How to test diesel flow from the pump?

Hi all,

I am completely new to Diesel engines and I am learning every day.

Recently my Avensis t27's Diesel pump had a leak  and I fixed it with some silicon gasket maker. The car ran two days without any problem and then it stopped. It doesn't want to start again. I have a feeling that the silicon blocked the injectors. But before I test injector I would like to test if the diesel is pumping out from the diesel pump. 

How do I check that?
