Head lights seem low on highest setting?

On my 2014 invincible My headlights seem low on the highest setting.

The cockpit control does make them lower so it seems that the motor adjusters are working .

Other makes like Audi and VW have an actuator on the rear axle that self levels .

Question is does the toyota have one also as I can't see it at first glance ?

Does anyone know ?

I don't believe that the RAV4 has self-levelling suspension - I've never seen that claimed as standard or an option on any RAV4 model.

It's a common 'complaint' that the "headlights seem low on the highest setting" - they have a sharp cut-off so not too much of the beam escapes above the cut-off line and are set 'correctly' dipped. So there's probably nothing wrong / not as it should be but maybe it's not quite what you are used to ...

If in doubt, get them checked - at an MOT test centre maybe ... ?

Some models do have an electronic height control, but most people complain the lights have too much of a "cut off" that is how they are

Models with electronic height adjust look like this, N/S/R suspension area

Certain headlamps must have self-levelling by law - hence no manual over-ride.

I can't remember which (bi-xenon, xenon. led or whatever). My Yeti L&K (and other VAG cars had them) did a waggle dance on start-up to calibrate them.

Were by far the best headlamps I ever had - main beam was incredible.

Thanks for the Feedback.  This is the item I expected to see . 👀 I will look for it again as I've seen them snagged and snapped plastic arms in the past .
