New RV4 member

Hi everyone and Happy New Year.

I first browsed this forum to find information about software/satnav updates etc. and am impressed with the helpfulness on offer from members, so decided to sign up.

I got my RAV4 in July (first ever Toyota) just before I retired. It's a 2019 5th gen model which I bought from Cinch. Bit of a leap of faith buying sight-unseen from an online retailer, but it all went very well. My brother-in-law had recently test driven a new RAV4 before settling on a Corolla estate - he said he would have had the RAV4 if it had been easier to get down his drive so I took that as a good recommendation. I wanted a hybrid and I also need to tow - hybrid tow cars are quite thin on the ground so I was already looking at the RAV4 for that reason.

I'm absolutely delighted with the RAV4 - best car I've ever had (my list includes company cars such as Focus, Mondeo, etc.)
