My son fixes everything for me, too.

I understand your frustration. My son fixing for me too all my electronics. I'm tired of how often phones break now...   It seems like phone durability has become a concern nowadays. Phones used to be able to outlast a person. Now I just bought a new phone and within a week I was yelling why is my iphone speaker glitching and looking for my son to help me. I think I'm too old to figure it all out.

Try removing  your phone and see if the A52s pairs now.

I have the A52s and my partner the A41 and both work OK. In settings you can give one phone priority over the other so if both of us are in the car my partners phone will connect rather than mine.
