Hybrid fuel consumption

I'm doubtful about the claims that fuel costs are the highest they've ever been. There was one year when we had our 2012 Auris, and on holiday in Scotland we were paying £1.45+ per litre for petrol then.

Locally (Birmingham) prices are dropping and are now around £1.38-1.43 at supermarkets and branded petrol stations. Before Christmas, £1.47 or so

My favourite, ie cheap, Shell station at Louth has just increased E10 from 1.399 to 1.439.

That seems the price at other Shell stations now in Lincolnshire.
