Buying online from Toyota.co.uk

Has anyone any experience of buying their Yaris direct from Toyota online ?
The reason I ask is, having configured an Excel, I’m being given a p/ex value which is several ‘000s more than a dealer would offer.

This discrepancy more than wiped out their Carwow discount.  Also, as an experiment, I get similar values via Autotrader and after configuring a Jazz on Honda.co.uk.

I just wonder what posters experience was ?

Where are you getting the dealer valuations from - an actual dealer or somewhere like Parkers?

Bear in mind that in recent months used car prices have risen by around 30% because of high demand for used cars due to new car production shortages (semiconductor shortages, production delays, etc), protracted delivery times, and so on.

The dealer (group) I bought my current Yaris from who was happy to match the Carwow discount from another branch of the same dealer Group.

He indicated his figure came from the ‘usual’ car valuation sources they use.

Well aware re. significant increase in used values due to shortages but I also see that the value of my current Yaris in somewhat lower today than it was in early December.

Did you get a valuation from Carwow?

The time I've tried it it was near the mark.

Try Motorway for valuation. I’ve found they offer best prices.
