EV

EV city values EV usage above efficiency. It prevents use of the ICE, even if that is he best option. Use this in town if you value environmental impact over efficiency and performance.

The manual isn't particularly helpful, it refers to EV City limiting the electric power output, so reducing the performance, minimising the use of the engine and maximising electric driving, which to me implied it might be the more efficient mode for less demanding, lower speed driving. It can still run the engine if the accelerator is fully depressed. Also EV City doesn't work with cruise control.

For lower speed electric driving around town with few hills, less acceleration I'd used EV City, using EV with the increased power output and better performance for higher speeds, better acceleration and hills
