RAV4 Prime - Can I Use the12v battery to charge solar generator

I have a bluetooth solar generator.  I usually connect it to solar panels. Naturally, it doesn’t charge when it is cloudy.  Can I plug in a power inverter into a cigarette lighter socket to charge the generator?  Will it run down or do any harm to the 12v Battery if the vehicle is on?

Are you sure that's the case Ernie? I believe that's true of the US Prime model with 2kw inverter, but I assumed the puny 200W inverter we get is connected to the 12V supply, as that is (I assume) much easier/cheaper/safer.

I think it must be the traction Battery that is used for the 240v 150w output the 12v Battery would not last long at all. I always stand to be corrected.

Just re read the original post and that said could he charge from the 12v auxiliary socket, in that case not unless the car was in READY mode or moving.

If the vehicle is on, then the 12v Battery is being kept charged from the traction Battery, so don't think there's any way you can harm it (until the traction Battery is used up). As you're probably aware, there's no 12v feed in the car once the ignition is off (unlike some other cars where it's always available, so you can run your 12v battery down if you're not careful).

My understanding is that the built-in inverter is connected directly to the 12v battery, which is in turn fed by the traction battery. For the UK 150w inverter, that's fine. For the 2KW inverter US models have, I understand that's fed directly from the traction battery - I don't think the supply to the 12v battery from traction battery can carry that kind of power (and the 12v cables would have to be very thick to carry that current ~170A!)
