Thought you might be interested in some material the Surrey Police have been putting on lamp posts (etc) in shopping areas and public car parks.  Not sure the police would turn up before the bad guys had already disappeared.  But still, good to see some positive action by the boys in blue!

Nice one, good job done here by the police, more information to public better for the car owners. It seems cat thefts has slowed down a bit. 👍

In my area, according to West Midlands Police thieves are now going after popular cars for parts, due to shortages caused production shutdowns, etc. Fords, Vauxhalls, VWs, etc.

Late last year, my neighbour's son and his wife had their new Polos stolen (key theft from house). The wife's diesel was never seen again, and Police thought it was broken up for parts. The husband's GTi was used in an armed robbery and later abandoned.
