Tried entering my reg and Vin number into MyT but they are 'not recognised'. The DVLA has my new reg number registered OK. Any thoughts anyone?

I would get in touch with your dealer. I will pick up my new Corolla next week and the car was fully registered in MyT earlier this week - I only had to accept the terms and conditions. I can see status (locked, fuel), that someone from the dealership drove to a nearby petrol station to fill up the car etc. - all without me having been anywhere near the car 😀

Did the dealer use the same email as you registered with MyT? If so, once the order is confirmed, they should add it pretty much straight away. Seems sometimes its missed/overlooked so it just needs a quick reminder to your dealer. One of the features of MyT/MyToyota is the ability to track your order from when you placed it through build and delivery then it moves into your "owned" section of your "Garage" once its delivered.

Yes, the email address the dealer uses and the one you register with needs to be the same for MyT/MyToyota to work. As per your post, mine is currently in the 'owned' section pending delivery/hand over.

Sorted! Was reading the vin number supplied in the book incorrectly. It was a 'Z' not a '2' ,- ho hum!!!

Another tip - make sure the password doesn't have certain special characters - if it does, it will work fine on MyT and Mytoyota, but the headunit wont be able to sign in..."!" is OK whereas "$" will cause issues. You can drive without being logged into MyToyota via the headunit and MyT app will work and show trips/hybrid guidance. But you wont be able to use any of the e-store apps (including traffic) ....and when you do get it connected, you need to drive a bit after before it syncs up properly (I want to say its 15 mins or miles??)
