2010 Toyota Avensis T27 petrol - dull thumping noise near front offside wheel

I hear and feel intermittantly a dull thumping noise from the front offside wheel area when I do the following: 1. Gradual start off from a stop, 2: Accelerate from a standing start to get onto a main road, 3: Reversing the car in a turn area in a cul-de-sac, 4: Turning slowly 270° left onto a hill, 5: Very slowly driving over a kerb to park on my drive. Regarding No 5, it also feels like the front wheel is moving backwards slightly as well as the dull thump.

I have just picked up my car from my friend's garage, who spent the entire afternoon checking everything - engine mounts, suspension parts, etc - and could not find movement in any. He advised me that the only thing left that it could be was the drive shaft, but not the CV joint as that particular noise when failing is more of a rattly clatter, and not a dull thump.

Has anyone any idea of what this could be, please?

i heard on here that some people that the pin ware  on there brake calibers cause a rattling noise its just with ware so noise comes from there the slap in them when they are out
