Where is RAV4 for UK market produced?

We’ve got a RAV4 Excel on order to replace our 2020 Excel which was produced in Japan. I’ve seen articles online that say the RAV4 is now produced at Toyota’s plant at St Petersburg Russia for the UK market. Is this true?

Nope, all Uk RAV’s come from Japan. The Russki factory doesn’t build any hybrid versions. If UK market cars had been built there I would not have bought one. Not having some of my money siphoned off to Putin.

No. The St Petersburg plant produces the Rav for Russia and neighbouring Eastern bloc countries.

The Rav for the European and the UK markets are built in Japan.
