hello, my name is shawn and i have a 94 previa non s/c rwd and i am going to turbo it. but im kinda new to forced

induction. i know i would want to build my engine (so it doesnt blow

up and so it performs better) build my trannsmission ( for the same

reasons) and probally make a custom turbo kit. now i know for my

tranny i would probally level 10 do that part, but if you have a

better solution im all ears. well if you could help me by posting

your ideal engine/tranny build and turbo kit, to give me some ideas i

would really appreciate it. thanks

ive also thought about going this route.

theres a big problem with turboing the previa and that is the engine lies on its side. youll need to fabricate a manifold which will hold the turbo higher than the sump so the drain back will occur. Even then, the oil coming from the turbo could be whipped meaning youll need some sort of oil seperator in there.

on the fueling side of thing, i havent quite worked it out yet, but i know i can change the injectors for a bigger set, then maybe ghetto wire in a safc which might be enough to map it. failing that, im a bit stuck.

tranny wise, i think it should hold upto a good 200 BHP no problem, as the previa was designed to carry weight therefore be able to handle high torque, other than a good quality clutch, i think it should hold up 7 psi no probs.
