When driving along, for no apparent reasons far as I can see, occasionally the car gives two Bleeps! It must be a notification or a warning, but nothing shows on the dash! Any ideas folks?

i would concur with WoofWoof but it may also be the anti collision as mine has a habit of doing it randomly when there is clearly no obstacle ahead.

Warning of speed camera is highly possible.

Yes it’s the speed camera alerts.

I posted the very same question when I got mine!

Yes it’s the speed camera alerts.

I posted the very same question when I got mine! 😆

It's highly irritating and the only way to disable it is to disable "Beeps" in the general settings.

Took me ages to find which setting affected it.

Mine triggered the anti collision yesterday, first time 😢, series of rapid bleeps quite different from the single ice alerts or double bong for a camera.

IIRC it bongs for single static cameras and not the Specs.

And lane departure too.

Is it worse than my early speed cam warning

"slow down you are exceeding the speed limit"

The spoke excellent English with a German accent.  We called her Brunhilda whereas Susan was far more pleasant with her directions, "please turn left in...."

Thanks everyone, so I will check for speed cameras next time I go out.

Mine did it today on motorway when on 2 separate occasions someone appeared rapidly and sort of cut in right in front of me, nothing that warrants braking, but definitely not the smoothest lane change. So either BSM or anti collision just giving me heads up.

and to disable speed camera beeps you need to go into general settings and disable 'audio beeps' which is an odd choice 😕

Maybe check the lane keep assist too

Sold, definitely a Sport or a Cross next. We shall have to see.

How did you open the filler?  We couldn't find it when we had a demonstrator.

Thanks everyone, so I will check for speed cameras next time I go out.
