New Cam Belt And Rattle When Cold

Just had the cam bet changed on Friday, picked the car up on Saturday morning, upon starting the car there was a rattle (not a dull rattle, but slightly high pictched), just put it down to the belt being new and drove off. The noise disappeared after around 5 - 10 minutes of driving. Made a few stops to the shops, noise never returned upon starting the car - it only happens when the car is cold.

Started the car later that day after it'd been sat for a few hours - rattle. Tried to check where the noise is coming from, and it's coming from the cam belt area. While looking at the engine for around 5 minutes (as the car was idling) the noise stopped.

Started the car again today - rattle - this time disappeared probably a bit less than 5 minutes.

Is this normal?

If not, what could be wrong?

The car otherwise seems fine - power is just as before.

The car was also serviced at the same time - oil level seemed fine.
