I I've just placed an order for a 1.8 Corolla GR Sport, after having a 2.0 TDI Tiguan, and I can't be any more excited! I test drove one and thoroughly enjoyed it. I am able to get the car for relativity  cheap through a salary sacrifice scheme. Since I lost some performance, I thought I'd treat myself to a bit of style. I love the look of the GR Sport, especially in Obsidian Blue. I was a little disappointed to hear the likes of wireless charging, BSM and a few other little bits and bobs are not included in the UK. Never mind. I was a on the fence for a while about getting the 1.8 or 2.0. It was either get the Design 2.0 or GR 1.8. Decided to go for the most economical. the 1.8 was more than adequate for me and my busy commutes. I'm looking forward to nearly doubling my MPG with the Corolla. Being the geek I am, I couldn't resist the HUD haha!

I have not been made aware when my delivery date is, but from reading the ese forums, it sound like it might be a while. I am hoping to travel to France in June, so fingers crossed I have it for then.
