Yaris 2005 mk1 D4D SCV valve

Does anyone out there know the current part number for an scv valve on a mk1 diesel 1.4 yaris?  I can't find one anywhere as the product codes all differ from the numbers on my valve, which are Bosch 415 05321 58111.  If anyone knows what the current replacement code is i'd be extremely grateful.  Thanks, Phil.

SCV i don't think it has one, if it's on the side of the pump that's the metering valve

eg. 0445010112DJ or 0445010113DJ

If you have a starting issue there is a small pump, in the tank (part of the level sender)

Hi Bob - I think we are talking about the same thing, it's because i've seen posts refer to it as an scv valve that i have used that name.  I think the correct term is a fuel metering valve.  Putting the correct name into the various suppliers still doesn't give me a part that is listed for my yaris unfortunately, so i'm still stuck!  My model does not have a fuel pump next to the fuel sender, but there was quite a bit of bio !Removed! attached to the filter....

My yaris stalls after about 10 miles and will not start again until about 6 hours have elapsed.  I've replaced the fuel filter, cleaned the egr valve and replaced the fuel rail pressure limiter relief valve, but no improvement.  Any other thoughts....?  Ta, Phil.

Get the part number off the pump, i cannot find any reference to that Bosch part, do you have a picture ?

First thing that sprung to mind was a blocked tank vent, loosen the cap half a turn or so and see how it drives

Can you PM me your vin so i can look up the part(s)

Interesting one regarding possible blocked vent, i'll add that to my next trials.  There are no useful numbers on the actual part other than 415 05321 58111 which do not tally with anything.  The part looks like lots of other metering valves that are available, but none of them list the early yaris as compatible.  The vin number is VNKJC18310A039942.  Ta, Phil. Hmmmm... Fitted new metering valve today but the engine is still running very roughly with the idle going up and down.  Now i have a fault code of P0190 which indicates fuel rail pressure sensor.  I guess i'll have to replace that now.  In for a penny in for a pound..

Something tells me i'm probably throwing good money after bad, but i cannot think of anything else to do.  Does anyone know how to test the fuel pressure on a mk1 yaris?

Well, just fitted the new fuel rail pressure sensor today.  Had to put the original metering valve back in as the replacement one was faulty (!).  Also disconnected the Battery for a while to reset the ecu then drove it for 17 miles.  It hasn't missed a beat so it looks like the problem is solved, hooray...!  Thanks for the great advice, cheers, Phil.
