servicing advice

Interesting reading, I've found SLM in Norwich pretty good but not used them for much. The extra years warranty for going direct is appealing despite the extra cost.

The only indy Toyota specialist seems to be Roys Motor Company, Sprowston Road - but I have never used them.

Norfolk also, and my main is SLM Norwich.

I have found only found up selling on tyres (duly declined), but apart from that it’s menu pricing there.  Re the warranty (add on) I’m in same boat car under 10 years but passed the 5 year standard so compared to a trusted local garage it’s just the gamble of if it’s worth the money or not hoping Toyota reliability stands and you won’t need it.  Also if something does fail you hope it’s covered under the warranty and not having to pay them to tell you what’s wrong what then subsequently isn’t then covered at their high labour rate.

sub question if serviced there and a fault is found at the first “new” service (which would be covered by the next extra relax warranty) intake it I will have to get that fixed for it to then be covered under warranty or does the service finding it cover it?

Re your sub question Paul, your fifth year warranty begins when you have the 4th service.
Therefore your next service (an intermediate) will be the start of the Relax warranty.

Joe, thanks thought that would be the case, now is it worth the £100 plus extra to be covered for the year vs what it covers… decisions decisions..

T&c..
