Engine off when idle

Hi,

Car:
Toyota RAV 4, Engine: 1AZ-FE 2.0 152HP. + LPG STAG
Year: 2006
Generation: III

Problem:
The car on a cold engine, immediately after starting and driving the first meters - getting to the intersection throwing in Idle goes out. RPM does not stop at 600-800RPM but drops to zero and the engine goes out. The situation takes place for the first 1-2 minutes max. After about two minutes of running the engine in driving, everything works fine.

What has been done so far:
Checked the gas system - everything ok
Checked the pressure in cylinders - all ok
Computer diagnostics - everything ok
Cleaned throttle valve and adapted - all ok
Changed gas filter, air filter and cabin filter


Please help, I will be very grateful for your help. Forum seems to be the last resort :)

You've pushed the choke in too soon, obviously ... 🙂

OK, I know nothing but the symptoms remind me exactly of 'choke misuse' from when I started driving. Pull the choke all the way out to start a cold engine; immediately drop to 'quarter choke' to keep the engine running at idle; once the engine has warmed up - 10 minutes or so - push the choke all the way in. Push the choke in to soon and you will stall ...

Obviously there is no manual choke arrangement on your car but I would tend to want to look at how the car maintains a richer mixture when cold and, possibly, how that is impacted by the LPG conversion ...

Told you I knew nothing ... 😉
