Unfortunately I can’t help but agree they could do with being a bit louder

Nope. No setting to increase.

The sounder is on the back of the gauges volume level settings are software/firmware set, I have not found the setting for the indicators............. yet

It must be in there somewhere as you can change other warnings levels

As far as I know, there is no volume on the indicator.

You could try wireing in a reversing buzzer or similar into the indicator circuit try wireing into the fuse for the indicators with a piggyback fuse holder.

Used to do this on my old bikes. Fitted a peizo buzzer on the same wire as the indicator and it would buzz when the indicator was on, providing an audible alert.

The indicator volume might be adjustable - but it might also require the dealer to plug the lap top in to adjust it.

Ask your Toyota dealer.

I have techstream among other tools, I have also reprogrammed and done mileage correction at EEPROM/Flash level

The Gauges Aka Instrument cluster has it own processor and flash memory, it's very complex (complex as you want it to be)

I normally only use Lane change function set at 5 flashes. It can be altered to 7 or 9 flashes I think.

This way, you never forget to turn indicator off. 😃👍

Not specifically volume but the indicator Tone can be adjusted through one of four choices as well as frequency of the one tough indicator through OFF 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7. This can be done by your dealer.

Grateful thanks. However, I’m rather senior in age so all this seems a tad strange to me! I struggled with the Battery on this car holding a charge for all of 12 months (we wouldn’t go anywhere without Jump leads!)and eventually the local Toyota garage in Huddersfield acknowledged it could be the 12v Battery and gave me a new one. Therefore, I have very little faith in that dealership doing anything that is remotely successful. I’d really like the indicator volume increased though.

If you can find a auto electrician local to you I am sure he/she would have no problem in fitting a additional buzzer/bleeper into the indicator circuit unless as has been suggested contact your Toyota dealer and see if they can help.

I know this is an old post but has anyone had the tone adjusted to see if it's more audible.
