Toyota Augo 3-door 1.0 2008 Reg. Boot cylinder lock jammed. Latch works fine (opening from inside the boot). Can't seem to be able to get a new lock (with keys) or cylinder barrel (again with keys). All breakage yards can offer is the latch. Any ideas? Thank you

Does the lock move at all ? Have you tried cleaning the lock (key hole) out with wd40 ?

You may have a bent arm, lock and key is 69055-0h010 only the very base models had boot locks

Thanks, Bob

Tried WD40, no luck. Dealer asks for £120 for new lock (and keys); I gather I will have to take the cylinder out and look to see if an arm is bent or a spring is broken. Thank you for your suggestion; yes, it is the base model.

Know a few people who have had a new lock 're-built' to match existing keys on these cars, so another option.

Yeah, they're just wafer locks so isn't actually too hard in theory - The trouble is there don't seem to be many 'real' locksmiths (As opposed to key cutters...) around these days who would be able to actually do it!

Remove the lock from the car, and strip it down, no problem re pinning a lock if you can get a barrel in the first place

Has someone put superglue in the lock ?
