Android Auto Head Unit - Toyota Avensis T27 from 2009 with B9012 SATNAV - Is it possible?

Hello,

I have a 2009 Toyota Avensis T27 equipped with a B9012 SATNAV unit, which features steering wheels controls, reverse cam, etc…

I am interested in installing a solution that provides Android Auto functionality. From what I have seen there are a few options available, including retrofitting a standalone interface module (nice to maintain the current unit but I did not find a compatible set yet) or replacing with a new one, specific for the T27 or generic (requires a specific frame).  

I am pretty sure that there is no plug and play solution and, adding to this, there is not enough wiring diagram information for the B9012 that allows me to evaluate this issue in depth.

As anyone found a decent and affordable solution to have Android Auto in this model?

u should hope to try get one with dab+ on it as its great to have that selection of dab stations .tbh i only listen to dab+ anymore
