Toyota Cd Player Connectivity

:( Is it possible to purchase just the wiring loom for a Corolla, or ascertain the wiring differences between a Yaris('02) and Corolla ('01) wiring loom for a Toyota CD player?

I have a player + loom from a yaris. The same model CD player apparently as used in the Corolla, but the loom only provides power to the CD, the CD operation does not cut off the radio (as the cassette player does) nor does it indicate "CD" in the dash digital display!

Is the CD part a 2nd din unit .. with the 5p sized connector that pops into the back of the stock unit?

Can you hear to CD playing over the radio?
