Hey fellow toyota owners,

I have recently had issues with my Toyota Corolla Verso (Mmt gear) from 2004. For the the past few months I have had an analog like sound coming when I press the speeder. I sent the car to an authorized dealership to get it diagnosed, and they said that the clutch needed to be changed which was the reason for this beeping sound. I took the car to an independent mechanic (since he was cheaper) whom practical experience with Toyota. After installing the new clutch, he could not calibrate it. We sent the car to an authorized Toyota, but they could not calibrate it. They said that they could not communicate with the control box, so they did not know for sure what thee issue is. They said that if you don't pit the car in service mode before dismantling the old clutch then this will lead to issues along the way. The mechanic insisted he followed the procedure and he suggested that the actuator is malfunctioned. Has anyone experienced this issue before? I am not interested in throwing more money into an old car but it bothers me that I do not know the root cause. I know have a dead car who want start. When I put the car in the ignition and the press the start button nothing happens. There is no light in the dash board only the one showing when a door is opened.
