2003 Corolla 1.4 Change info display/driving monitor to MPG instead of KM/L ?

Hi guys,

I just purchased a low mileage 2003 Corolla 1.4VVTi. I would like to change the fuel consumption to MPG instead of KM/L On the info display incorporated in the stereo system. I've been searching the internet for a few hours now and cant appear to find any information. Can it be done ?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Using the Audio control knob, press it then twist to cycle through the options one will be units, press the knob then twist to change the units

Mine has stopped working recently any idea where the sensor is located that gives the mpg & average mph readings?

Thanks, all.. this info came in handy having disconnected the Battery for a while for injector cleaning!
