True, more of a compliance vehicle than anything else. You can tick a box on the green list but only just. Helpful in heavy traffic though so in London a bit more useful as we have lots of traffic delays and 20mph restrictions.

As above...^^^^...In mpg terms, anyone buying a hybrid Estima will be disappointed if they think it will be advantageous.

As Mike say, it's not what they were designed for.

hi i notice you have a V6 3.0 estima. i have a 2005 3.0 V6 with 1mzfe motor and it needs the spark plugs done which im dreading. has anyone done this themselves and can give me tips that will make it much less painful changing the back three?

As an aside i get about 12L/100km around town and about 10 on the highway which isnt bad for a big car with a not very economical motor…

I would never try to do these myself tbh...the back three are a nightmare I understand...done by feel as much as visual.

I think you need the hands of a Barbie doll and plenty of patience...I have neither..lol

I had Denso Iridium plugs fitted so that longevity ruled.!...they've done about 30k miles now and still fine.

ps..might be worth checking Youtube to see if there is a video that might give you some clues.

thanks. even better i also have to change the timing belt…. when i bought it the dealer had a 2007 estima he had to take the whole front end off to change the alternator i think.

i have a camry with 1mzfe i might practice on first, it needs a belt as well. i did find a youtube video for that at least
