Hi all,

Got my hands on a late 2010 Estima V6 Aeras AWD.

Power sliding doors open with the fob remote, but there are no dash buttons to open them. This seems strange, as i can't open doors while the car is on, for example - dropping kids off. The fob remote will only work if engine is off.

Why would there be no dash buttons to open doors?? Is this something standard on some models??, or i just missed out. I can see a couple of capped over blank button areas right of steering wheel near power mirrors.

Cheers, John

I agree...seems strange and pretty pointless to me.

I always thought that power doors had the facility to be opened by some dash button as well as the fob.

I thought they were standard fit on a 2010 model...mine only has soft close but it is 2003 model.

Never had power doors.
