14 plate Yaris Hybrid will not start

Morning everyone,

I have my late brothers Yaris hybrid, been having problems with starting the car, had a new Battery fitted yesterday but this morning completely flat, but jump leads on it still no joy. Yesterday when I got it started before the new Battery was fitted I noticed that the cruise control has stopped working and the keyless entry won’t work. 
When I get in the car the only lights that come on are the door open sign in red and a key sign in orange, no other lights at all indicating that the Battery is completely flat. I did read some time ago that there is a reset button or something that stops the battery from draining when it’s turned off.

I would be most grateful for any advice

The smart key defaults to off after a low Battery

To start it manually

Place the fob on (or around) the start button you will hear the steering lock release

Press the start button for Accessory mode

or

Put your foot on the brake press and hold the start button for 2-3 seconds, to put it in Ready mode (start the car)
