Why? Supaguard spray them,  remember, there is an airbag in the side of the seat which probably stops you using covers

My Mk4 had its interior supagard'ed - It isn't very effective...

But yeah, suitable seat covers are tricky due to the airbags in the seats. You'll need to make extra sure any ones you get are compatible so you don't risk it taking an arm off or something!  (I'm probably exaggerating a bit, but airbags are basically powered by explosives so you have to take them seriously!!)

I considered getting some covers to use after each shift at work.

I started taking spare clothing instead and leaving work gear in my locker.
